This list of events does not include specific program or activity themes or merit badges done at regular meetings or Roundtable meetings held on the first Thursday of every month at Zion Lutheran Church in Hummelstown.
And, as always, these things happening all depend upon the interest and involvement of boys... with support of parents and other adults.
Further, Troop planning of these events and outings is largely accomplished by the boys at Monday night meetings.


Ongoing into 2009
Evrett's Eagle project
In order to earn the Eagle rank Evrett must plan and implement a project that somehow provides a service to the community.
He has chosen to clean up and do some historical research on an old overgrown cemetary from the early 1800's in Lower Swatara Township.

Scouting for Food
We will put door hangers out in Old Reliance and Longview Acres neighborhoods. The food will be taken to the Central Penn Food bank at Union Deposit, and the boys will be able to use this time as service project time for rank advancement.

We will pick up canned food in Old Reliance and Longview Acres neighborhoods and take it to the Central Penn Food bank at Union Deposit.



weekend in January or February, 2009
Winter camp in either Whitaker or Thunderbird cabin at Hidden Valley
Tentative weekends are: January 2, 3, 4; January 30, 31, February 1; and February 13, 14, 15. We must reserve a cabin soon.
-We extend the invitation to Webelos of Pack 206... or any boy at least 11 years of age !
Tentative Activities:
Arrive by 8pm
Friday night: meeting, wood, cracker barrel, movie, games
Saturday morning: wilderness survival skills (edible wild plants, finding your way, shelter)
Saturday afternoon: backpacking (what to bring, how to pack), sledding, shooting (if range is open)
Saturday night: story-telling, movie, games
Sunday morning- clean, pack-up and leave for home at about 10:30am
